Parent Survey Feedback…Thank you once again to those families who completed the Parent Survey. One of the concerns was homework being given on weekends. It is not school policy to assign homework on Friday that is due on Monday. We do value family time. If a student is doing homework over the weekend, it is homework that was assigned Thursday night and not due until class on Monday. Mrs. Reynaga confirmed this information with all the teachers. If for some reason, this is a continued concern, please talk to Mrs. Reynaga.

Mrs. Reynaga has shared the desire for soccer nets and new blinds with the Parish Finance Council. One of the members of the Finance Council took interest in these needs and is soliciting information and prices.

Morning drop off has improved, thank you! Please continue to drive slowly. We know you are in a rush in the morning but safety always comes first. Please park correctly.

$CRIP – Thanks for purchasing gift cards this week! Be sure to go online to to purchase ecards before you hit the mall! Some people have asked about when their orders arrive from Scripsense. Orders paid by credit and debit card will process the same day as date of purchase. Orders paid by electronic check will process within two business days from day of purchase to ensure funds in member’s bank account.

The Parish Penance Service is on Tuesday, December 13th, at 7 pm in the church.

The Christmas Baskets assembly and distribution will be from the Parish Offices located at 7344 Apperson St.

Thank you for continuing to send in your food donations for the Christmas Baskets. Each class will supply food to feed one family and provide toys or T-shirts for the children. See the attached list of food items requested from each grade.

Once again, the PTO will be hosting the traditional Christmas Store at OLL.  This is an opportunity for students to shop for their loved ones and show a little bit of appreciation for the wonderful love they receive. Anyone interested in helping out may contact Kelly Thorp and Aileen DeGuzman. Thanks to these fabulous ladies and our wonderful PTO Board for hosting this affair!

The cost of the items for sale is $2.00. Please remind your children to pack their money and if you can send small bills it would be greatly appreciated. Also, you can send a check made out to O.L.L.  Please note on the memo portion up to how much your child can spend. Talk with your children about whom to buy gifts for.
